Rest In Peace Pooka

On March 25,2013 Pooka from the Pooka pages website and pooka pages stories passed away from cancer. I was heartbroken to hear that that sweet 10 year old cat who starred in those beautiful stories written by Lora Craig-Gaddis was gone. My daughter who is almost 10 grew up with those stories. Enjoying in pookas adventures as if they were her own. When you lose someone you love, whether animal friend or human. Your heart breaks and you feel as if the bottoms dropped out from under you. But, you need to have faith that you will see them again, all matter changes form you just need to recognise the signs. Thats not to say that you should not grieve as this is a natural part of the healing process and its unhealthy to keep those feelings bottle up but, Those we lose are never truely gone as long as we remember them. Rest in peace pooka, we love you and we'll always remember you. Blessed be, Brighid

Back on the Broom

Oh my Goddess it has been such a long time since I have visited. If there is such a thing as being a lapsed wiccan that would be me. I suppose everybody has those times though where you have to prioritise what you need to do and enevitably some things end up at the bottom of the pile. Well, no use whining about having too much to do, It could be worse, I could have nothing to do which to me would almost be a fate worse that attending a tax seminar.I said almost people. So the past is the past and there is no use dwelling but I'll try to be a better blogger from now on. As my daughter would say, I pinky swear.
